I'm a professor of French language and literature at Acadia University, Wolfville, Nova Scotia. My paintings and drawings offer scenes from my own back yard, my rural surroundings in Nova Scotia, and my research interests which often take me to Paris and other parts of Europe. I often work from photographs taken with my own camera, although I have occasionally done some paintings en plein air! My works are in private collections in Canada, the United States, and France.
